Peonies are in high demand for a reason. Their lush petals, dreamy colors, and soft, full blooms bring instant beauty to any moment. Whether you’re celebrating something big or brightening an ordinary day, peonies add a touch of charm and elegance that never goes out of style.
We planted thousands of peonies on our farm in the fall of 2025. We now have the following 8 varieties in the ground!
-

Coral Charm
An American Peony Society Gold Medal winner, 'Coral Charm' is very fragrant with semi-double coral-pink blooms that age to radiant peach, set against dark green foliage. Blooms appear here in early June.
-

Sarah Bernhardt
‘Sarah Bernhardt’ is a classic peony with large, fully double, fragrant blooms—soft blush-pink with creamy undertones and densely packed petals. Popular for gardens and cut arrangements, flowers hold well after harvest. Blooms here mid-May to the first week of June.
-

Coral Sunset
Brilliant coral-red, lightly fragrant, semi-double flowers arrive early in peony season on this highly prized perennial. An excellent cut flower. Deep green foliage covers the well-rounded plant. Blooms can be expected in our region sometime in mid May through the first week of June.
-

Shirley Temple
‘Shirley Temple’ bears white double blooms with blush-pink hints that fade to ivory. Named for the 1940s child star, this mid-season peony is a crowd-pleaser, blooming here from mid‑May to early June.
-
Bartzella Itoh
A striking hybrid of tree and herbaceous peony. Produces very large, rare bright yellow double blooms with a faint red center above lush, dark green, deeply divided foliage. Blooms mid-May to early June.
-

Mother's Choice
Mother’s Choice is a full-flowered peony with flowers that bloom in the shape of a rose. Colourwise, they start out ivory white and develop a slight hint of champagne during the blooming process. A peony fit for royalty. Blooms can be expected in our region sometime in mid May through the first week of June.
-

Jacorma
‘Jacorma’ features impressive, cup-shaped, deeply pink blooms packed with countless petals, a light fragrance, and robust stature. Blooms appear in early June and last through late June.
-

Red Sarah Bernhardt
The peony Red Sarah Bernhardt features fragrant, dark red blooms on strong stems. Despite its name, it is not a red form of Sarah Bernhardt. Blooms appear mid-May to early June.
